Unlocking the mysteries of LIFE
Life is a mystery in and of itself; nobody has proven, one way or another, where LIFE came from; sure, there are those who believe that we sprung forth from a coconut seed, swung from a banana tree, crawled out of the ocean, or were created by an all-powerful God, but where is the proof?? In today’s age of comfort, computers, quantum mechanics, Ai, scientists, researchers, professors, experts in their fields, and Betty Crocker, we still do not have an iron-clad, rock-solid, verifiable, and immutable rejoinder; or do we?? I believe what I believe, and you believe what you believe; shouldn’t we just leave it at that?? What if the Truth were actually sitting right in front of us, what if it were patently obvious, what if the Truth was actually the difference between Life and death; would it matter then??
How about, as living, breathing, and thinking beings, we do what comes quite by nature for us to do, and that is to move!! Move beyond our current point of view, to open our eyes to the fullness of the light, the bright, and the beauty, that is standing right before us; to step toward the light and away from the darkness that wants to devour us; for in the light, we can see; the light is the answer, the antidote, and a natural disinfectant, for what comes out of the dark!! We cannot see anything in the dark, but if we strike a match, shine a flashlight, or flip the switch to the overhead light, then we can begin to see where we are, where we are going, and what is our next move; the light is the answer to solving the problems before us.
Sometimes the light comes to us in the middle of the night, when our minds are at rest and we catch some much-needed sleep. During REM sleep our brains undergo a fascinating process of restoration, memory consolidation, and waste removal, which is necessary for both our physical and mental well-being; it is there in the darkness of night that our minds become the most active and prescient; that is where I have put together some of my most meaningful, memorable, and far-reaching little-stories, pointing to the sheer beauty of Life. So, in a sense, even in the dark of night we can see things that were not apparent in the light of day. You might say that Bird Food for LIFE was born in the light and times of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; it then grew up in the darkness of night and was propelled forward by the wind under its wing of Truth, Justice, and the American Way; allowing it to soar through the sky and shine the light on the TRUTH. There you go, Mystery solved!!
