Anchoring my Why!!

Giving my first TEDx talk on "The Power of Creativity," is the culmination of a complete calendar; built upon a Lifetime of events, successes, let-downs, failures, and mountaintop experiences too!! I am grateful, blessed, and happy to be here!! The words that we choose to use have the power to propel or repel; as Orville and Wilbur Wright discovered in harnessing the power of the wind to create lift, overcoming many obstacles along the way, and then learning how to soar through the air like never before. The birds of the sky only fly in one direction and that is forward; so, they have become a beautiful metaphor for me in looking at Life and living in a more positive and propelling fashion. By their actions, words, deeds, and tweet tweets, they have shown me how to navigate through Life and soar on wings like an Eagle. I am grateful for the opportunity to talk to people all across this land and throughout the world, about the power that is embedded in each and every person; and which can be fanned into a burning flame by the choices we make, the company we keep, and the steps that we take. Everybody, here in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave is born free; with opportunity, community, and a chance to succeed. Oh, what fun it is to speak, to share, and to inspire individuals, and stadiums filled with hundreds and thousands of people; with this message aimed at forging stronger connections through creativity and conversations. I love receiving checks for $10,000 from game changing businesses, individuals, and corporations, who want to take the next step forward towards a more meaningful future!!
